Stop Bugs and Reassure the Client

Bugs will never look the same instead they may act the same.

Lets start with the steps you will always start with when dealing with bugs.

  1. Try to Replicate the problem or bug.
    1. What is end result of the bug and what is the correct end result?
    2. If you cant replicate it, did the client leave vital information out?
  2. Identify what kind of bug it maybe.
    • If you can identify the type of you can seek help with the matter from the Tech team when you have answered #1 points and gathered all information to present to Team member.
    It is important to do through gathering of information on the Bug. Googling,providing URLs to the error page and even searching through Freshdesk old tickets of similar issues will help the process.
  3. When the Error has been addressed by you or a team member, test the issue again to make sure everything is working smoothly.
    • Not every Error can be solved right away by the team. You may need to consult the team member for a work around or simply communicate with the client on an alternative solution.


After these steps have been completed let the client know that either the issue is being worked or solved.

The response must Reassure the client that the problem is being handled or resolved.
