Access the section for creating content by selecting "Content" from the admin panel navigation bar, then "Content" again from the dropdown menu.
Click the red "Add Content" button from the far right side of the page.
From the prompt, select "Blog Post".
Add a title for your blog and upload an image from your computer. If you wish to schedule the date for when the post will appear on your site, you can do so, otherwise, click the green button "Create & Go to Edit".
You can now add your content in a couple of ways.
- If you are writing the content out into the editor, you don't need to do anything special ... just type in your content.
- If you are copying the content from another source like a webpage or a text editor, click on the "plain text" icon. This will open a small window where you can paste your content into. If you don't use the plain text editor, your blog post will pick up any formatting from the original source, and this is not always compatible with the template.
Use the tools on the editor's toolbar to adjust how your content looks.
If you wish to attach more images to your blog post, you can do so using the "Attach one or more photos" button.
Select a name from the "Posting as" menu. This shows as the author of the post.
Submit a location - if there is no specific location, you can just type in "Anywhere" or leave it blank.
Before you save your blog post, take a moment to check the right side of the page to adjust your publish status and add any relevant tags
Save your blog post.
You will see the blog post in the list of content.
The first link (red box) will open the blog post in the editor so that you can make changes to it, if needed.
The second link (green box) will open the blog post on your website so you can see how it looks.
